Search Advisory Committee
The Washington State University Board of Regents has appointed 19 individuals including three regents to the Presidential Search Advisory Committee. They are:
-- Rafael Stone, Regent and Chair of the Search Advisory Committee.
-- Larry Arcia, Past President of the WSU Alumni Association.
-- Barbara Aston, Assistant to the WSU Provost and Tribal Liaison.
-- Jessie Baines, Chair of the Council of Multicultural Student Presidents.
-- Dan Bernardo, Dean of the College of Agricultural, Human and Natural Resource Sciences.
-- Anjan Bose, Regents Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences.
-- Scott Carson, President and Chief Executive Officer, Boeing Commercial Airplanes
-- Hal Dengerink, Chancellor of WSU Vancouver.
-- Jason Doss, President of the Graduate and Professional Students Association.
-- Loretta Dragoo, Program Coordinator for Administrative Services.
-- Len Foster, Professor in Educational Leadership and Counseling Psychology.
-- Laura Jennings, Regent.
-- Mary Sanchez Lanier, Associate Dean of the College of Sciences.
-- Nancy Magnuson, Professor in the School of Molecular Biosciences.
-- Linda Garrelts McLean, Assistant Professor of Pharmacotherapy at WSU Spokane.
-- Connie Niva, Regent
-- Leonard Orr, Professor of English at WSU Tri-Cities.
-- Chuck Pezeshki, Chair of the Faculty Senate and Professor of Mechanical and Materials Engineering.
-- Mikal Thomsen, Chair of the WSU Foundation Board of Governors.

The committee is seeking a successor to President V. Lane Rawlins who announced in July his intention to retire in June 2007. Regent Kenneth Alhadeff, Chair of the Board of Regents, is serving on the committee ex officio.
