Seattle Public Forum on
Presidential Search Set for Oct. 30

Washington State University alumni and friends and members of the public will have a chance to share their ideas on WSU's presidential search at a public meeting in Seattle on Monday, Oct. 30.

The public forum will be held at 5 p.m. at WSU West, the university's offices located at 520 Pike Street, Suite 1101.

The Seattle forum will be led by Rafael Stone, a member of the Board of Regents and chair of the Presidential Search Advisory Committee.

Other forums have been held during September and October in Pullman, the Tri-Cities, Vancouver and Spokane, the locations of WSU's campuses.

President V. Lane Rawlins, who has served as WSU's ninth president since 2000, announced in July that he plans to retire in June 2007.
